Mia is a witch that doesn't practice her powers so that makes her powers not very strong. She has been keeping her powers a secret from her family and friends. Her brother gets her to pick up his mate Ethan from the airport whom she has been lusting after for years.  While at the airport Mia and Ethan are attacked by a werewolf and Mia uses her powers exposing her to Ethan. Mia then has to tell Ethan that he could become a werewolf. Finally the feelings that Mia thought were only on her side turn out to be more than one sided.

Mia and Ethan get dragged into the world of the werewolves that neither of them they knew anything about. Ethan is given a chance to learn what he is going to become from the alphas son.

Not wanting to give any spoilers I’m leaving it at this. It is a beautiful love story of two people who want to deny their love as they feel that is the right thing to do. Finally giving into what is meant to be.

I received this Arc for an honest review! I read it to my son his comments were “I love the drawings (well done Noelle Giffin) they are so detailed. It’s sad that Larry doesn't have any friends. It’s sad that he wouldn't be friends with the other animals. It’s good that he realized that he could be friends with the animals.”

A great children’s story that shows that you don’t need to be the same to be friends that differences aren't bad things. Being friends with anyone is a good thing whether its racism or disability. This is a good story the only issue I have with it, is Larry is resting in the crook of the highest tree. How did he get up there?  Dodos couldn't fly.

The only thing I found wrong with this story was that it ended. The good news is that there is another book. This is a page turning action packed romance. It had me on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last; if I didn't have to go to work I would not have put the book down until I finished it.

Elsie knows that evil stalks the night as her husband Dalton was killed by what she believes is a vampire. She joins a group SOVA (Survivors of vampire attack) to find and kill this terror of the night. What Elsie doesn't know is what she is hunting is a lot worse than vampires.

After a chance encounter with the Vampire King Zander at a dinner where she was going to get dinner. She instantly fell in lust but she is still being faithful to her dead husband 18 months after his death. She was never ever going to follow through on any of the feelings or impulses she had.

Once Zander realizes where he had first seen Elsie he gets some of his warriors who are also detectives to re-open the case and to see what they can discover. Her honeysuckle fragrance is enough to drive Zander crazy with desire. He finally realizes that she is the reason he has been unable to feed since that night that he saw her on the news and she is his mate. It has been 400 years since there has been a fated mate.

Elsie is too plagued by guilt to allow this to happen without a fight. Finally she realizes that she loves Zander but will it be too late?

I received this ARC for an honest review I can honestly say I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to anyone that likes the vampire stories.

This is a great accompaniment to Tempted by the Jaguar and takes place after the foe mentioned book. Rescued? By the wolf is another great read written by Cristina Rayne. A lone lion who does not want to follow in the family traditions of being an assassin and has been on the run for the last three years. Until the lion retrievers find her in a sleepy town. Out of desperation she jumps into a complete stranger’s truck to get away.  The truck belongs to a wolf who helped in the Tempted by the Jaguar to take out the lion compound.

Even though the Lions are considered very bad in the shifter world in these stories Victoria (Tori) and her new wolf friend Nolan hit it off and become very good friends. After they help each other with their lion problems and Tori even saves his life.

A great Novella and a nice touch of romance to give the reader a warm fuzzy feeling.

This is my honest review after reading the ARC.

Grabbing her by the waist, I lift her up off the rock and hold her there, staring into her eyes.

“Why won't you tell me where you work?” I ask. She pushes on my shoulders, and starts laughing. “I kind of like you, and I would like to know more about you,” I tell her as she stops struggling and gets serious.

“You kind of like me?” she repeats.

“Yeah, I kind of like you, a lot.” I slide her down so her face is even with mine. Her breath hitches, our lips inches from touching.

“I'm an FBI agent,” she whispers, her eyes watching me.

“Really?” I put her down. “You're not here investigating the disappearance are you?” I am suddenly suspicious as all her questions come to mind.

“No, God no,” she instantly says. “I swear, I'm here on vacation. I didn't know anything about it until I got here.” She senses my change and reaches out to touch my arm.

“You've just been kind of elusive.” I look down at her hand on my forearm.

“That has nothing to do with anything other than a woman being careful.” She drops her hand and crosses her arms over her chest.  “Do most women you meet spill their life history to you in the first hour?” Now the tide changes as she starts to get feisty about it. “Do you want my bank account number, or how about my social?” She is getting fierier right before my eyes and I laugh, it's innocent and sexy at the same time.

“Okay, I'm sorry.” I can't stop laughing as she fumes. I bend at the knees and wrap my arms around her waist again, this time throwing her over my shoulder. “Do I need to throw you in the ocean to cool you off?”

“Justin, put me down.” I can hear amusement in her voice so I don't put her down, but start walking toward the water, and she wraps her arms around my chest.

“Just so you know, if I'm going in so are you.” She has a death grip on me and I have no doubt that she will not be letting go. It doesn't stop me as I continue to walk into the water.

“Justin,” she squeals as the cold Atlantic Ocean hits her legs. She'll have to let go when her head hits the water. At least that's what I think, but she doesn't and I'm totally submerged before I let go of her tiny waist. This woman is stubborn and I love it. She comes up from the cold water for air, inhaling deep.  I pull on her arm to bring her back to me when she struggles in the waves. I'm anchored, being used to the waves, and her body smashes into mine. Once again we are face to face.

I've have met some amazing woman on my journey so far, and have learned so much. (Sometimes the hard way.) I've been like a sponge soaking up all the information I can on how the publishing world works. It's been a rollercoaster ride with its ups and its downs. 

No matter what, I will never regret anything I've done. You can't succeed if you don't try, and if you don't try you won't succeed. One of my favorite quotes "If the dream is big enough the facts don't matter".

Some other info about me, I love my family, friends, wine and anything caffeinated. I also love writing HEA. For the same reason I won't watch a movie that I know will make me cry, (with the exception of Steel Magnolias) I will never write a book without a HEA. There might be a few twists and turns, a cliffhanger or two. But ultimately my stories will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. For me, reading is entertainment, a way to escape this crazy insane world. If a book leaves me feeling sad, mad or gut wrenched, it is not for me. There is enough gut-wrenching sadness in this world, I don't need to read about it too. 

I started writing four years ago, and have no plans on stopping. So keep your eye on me because with the help of some amazing people and my wonderful fans, this girl is going to be on the New York Times bestselling list someday.

Elsie woke, drenched in sweat with a scream trapped on her lips and her sheets tangled around her legs. Her sister stirred next to her on the queen-sized mattress. She didn’t want to wake her and shoved a fist into her mouth, stifling the scream from clawing its way out as the images from her nightmare continued to consume her. No matter how long and hard she fought it, the visions and memories refused to leave her. 

It always started the same, with her standing on cracked linoleum in the long hall of the group home where Dalton was murdered. She had relived that entire night countless times over the past eighteen months. She squeezed her eyes shut as the images flooded her aching brain for what seemed like the millionth time. An abattoir surrounded her. The walls were sprayed with blood, and there were pools of the crimson liquid congealing on the black-and-white checkerboard floor. She gagged when she saw a lump of bright, red meat on the floor. Flesh. Yellow flags and cones lined the walls and floor, amidst the carnage. Her stomach revolted while her body went numb. 

In between heaving, she had whispered a plea for help. No one responded and she fell into a heap on the floor. A highly recommendable story and this is my honest review after receiving the ARC.

Dianna Hardy’s Spell of Summer proves that magic does exists and that no matter what if you are meant to be together then you will be. Regardless of how much time passes if you are meant to be it will be.

When Meredith says another man’s name at the alter on her wedding day her fiancee Michael decides that they need some time apart to reassess their commitment to each other. Even though she is upset by this Meredith goes along with his wishes and goes back to her home town. A place she hasn't been since she was 16 when she left with her mother to make a new start in London. Spell of summer is a wonderfully written book and I found it enthralling. It is nice to let some magic into my life and reminds us to let some” magic” into our own lives. A lovely romance was a pleasure to read this ARC for my honest review. Would recommend this to anyone.
